Thunder Birds

These guys were making laps over my neighborhood today, I got a few shots in after they went by a few times

I know they were dedicating the new Air Force Memorial today.

eah, I know they flew over several times in prep for the dedication - very

! I've seen the Blue Angels several times (an ex bf was CO of their winter training facility in CA) and the Thunderbirds a couple of times, too. Really exiciting to watch. The +1 and I left for the Navy/Rutgers game in Annapolis very early yesterday to avoid some of the road closings associated with the ceremonies. The memorial looks pretty neat, but I'm VERY glad it didn't end up next to Iwo Jima, the original site the AF wanted.
