Default Ticking noise from Engine

Lately i've been hearing this ticking noise from my engine. It does it especially after I use vtech couple times. I've read lots of forum regarding the ticking noise. Some say its normal and some say something might wrong with the engine.

I've only had the car since December and I've only been hearing the ticking noise for the last two weeks . I took it to Brown's Honda of Arlington and they say nothing is wrong with it. Can I trust them ?
I'd greatly appreciate any help.

I took it to the Honda dealership and they did the oil change. Although before the oil change it ticked a bit more. Now it only ticks after vtech.

I doubt it's that extreme, but you could possibly need a valve adjustment. Btw, what is "vtech?" A college? My S2000 has VTEC.

I bet you u need your valve's adjusted...I had a similar sound at idle and it was louder durning vtec....What happens is the valve springs loosen creating valve chatter....Its an easy DIY pick up the tool from honda....
