I'm wondering if anyone could recommend me a reputable tire shop to go to, to have my tire plugged/patched where they will not scrape up my rim. I live by Andrews afb, MD.
You're a dependent still, right? Is the hobby shop on base bad? I use ours to mount my low-pros.

The hobby shop on Andrews AFB can unmount and mount tires for you. But on the other hand i would not recommend using there services do to the poor quality of customer service. And just for FYI they wont let you use the tire machine unless you work @ the hobby shop.

Actually since i graduated I'm not anymore. I could easily go w/ dad but the hobby shop on andrews is not the best. The tire has about 3k on it which is why I don't want to replace it and it is the oem ap2 17. The nail went straight through the tread block in the center. Mr. Tire said that they could patch it on the inside and i'll be fine. Thanx for your inputs

Wow, two reports of the shop being poop. I keep thanking my lucky stars that ours is so good.

Glad it's getting fixed.
