Tire installation
Any great tire jockeys in the Laurel, MD area? Haven't decided if I want to swap out for winter rubber yet, but if I do, I want to be prepared.
The car is lowered, so some shops give me a fit about getting it on the lift (even though you only have to drive it onto some 2x4's beforehand

Do what I do. Don't take the car to a shop! get yourself a set of jack stands (handy to have anyway) and jack the car up and leave it on 4 jackstands while you take just the wheels in to get the tires mounted and balanced. No risk of a shop messing up your bumpers or underframe.
That assumes you have a second ride to put those tires in
I have a pair of jackstands and a race jack, so I could do it two at a time if someone would be willing to give a ride.
Actually, tonight I found out there's an import tuner shop at the end of the building (supposedly did a number of the F&TF cars). I'll check them out this week and see if they have a tire machine...
