Default The Tire Rack

A lot of people compain about getting bad customer service (Like me complaining about those assholes at Fairfax Honda) but I wanted to put a good note up about The Tire Rack.

I had a flat tire a few days ago and ordered a new one through Tire Rack. I checked the status to see why I had not received it yet and the website said the order was cancelled. I called them this morning rather upset (ok....I wont lie....I was pissed off) and we found out that the order was cancelled by this Blake guy because I accidentally typed in the wrong phone number. I thought it was crazy that he didn't bother to email me or anything. I would've never known if I didn't check. I expressed my opinion of the lack of customer service on the phone and again in an email.

I just got a very good response and wanted to give them a big

"As a training tool I've already talked to Blake about why he so hastily cancelled the order to make sure this will not happen again. "

and

"We certainly appreciate your business and would hate to lose you over this. Please let me know the next time you need to place an order for something so I can extend you a discount for the inconvenience."

were my favorite parts. I know Skip and a few others have said they provided good service, but that really confirmed it for me.

Mistakes happen... it's always been how well a company copes with a mistake and responds that matters most to me.

Exactly. Mistakes I can handle with minimal frustration, but when a company denies it or tries to make it your fault I lose it. Tire Rack really came through!

My thoughts exactly.... unless there is gross some sort of gross negligenece involved on their part. If the problem is caused by outright stupidity then I'll need to reconsider.

I've ordered all my S tires from Tire Rack.

They may not always be the cheapest, but often you get what you pay for.
