these were definately t1 or t2 tornadoes right?

I think you mean F1 or F2? I haven't heard for sure, but I couldn't imagine that they would be any larger than that given the damage they showed.

Yes, some of them were F2s. Just saw on the news that we actually had 17, not 12. Yikes!!!
