I was going to but never got around to registering. I'm probably better off considering all of the traveling, fund raisers wods and adventure races I've done in the last couple months. Should be a great time, good luck! My gym hasa couple teams heading up.

Good luck!

The "Boa Constrictor" obstacle looks like a particularly easy way to die. Confined tubes, mostly filled with water? Fun

Good Luck, even when I was "fit" I could not attempt that course.

I did 5 consecutive ASYMCA Mud Runs (missed this year's though) and believe I'm in pretty good shape (can do a 5K in just over 25 mins) and I wouldn't even attempt the Tough Mudder. I know that's far beyond my limit. 10,000V of electric shock? Cold water dives in 50F weather? Yeah, no. Usually by around mile 4 of the Mud Run I start cursing and wishing I'd never signed up... the Tough Mudder is on a completely different level.

I want to see what my family and friends have to say. I have seen people who are as fit as the average American, with no gym time or workout schedule, complete the Tough Mudder. I think the obstacles would be awesome but I wouldn't be crazy about the distance. Friends have said its about 1/2 mile at a time and then a several minute wait per obstacle. That wouldn't be so bad, but still.

I have never done the Mud Run locally, I've heard its essentially a soft sand run with a couple of weak elements. I hate soft sand runs. I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit on the Mud Run, I've heard its a giant PITA.

I've done a couple X-Corp Adventure races in the last couple months and they are pretty sick.
