Ok, I know I am not a very thorough search wiz... But was wondering if someone can tell me or direct me to the thread that tells you how to turn off the stock built in feature that makes the A/C come on when the defroster is turned on....make sense?

Just buy a 2001 and you don't have to worry about it

 

Yeah...I love my lil dash button (on my '01 ). On a hot summer day, I punch it when I pull away from a stop light. I call it my "boost" button
