So ... I got my car back and I'm just itching for some get togethers. I haven't had my car from March 06 - November 06 but in that time period I still attended events in my Altima. Not drives, but like mod days, bbqs, etc. Anyways ... I know i've been hinting to a drive to the HR guys but wanted to make it known Mid-A wide now.

I'm trying to get a general consensus on what sunday would be best for a group drive for those wanting to attend. I'm telling you now that's it's either going to be the last sunday in march (31st) or the first sunday in april (7th).

The drive will consist of either Afton Mtn. Run (for those that remember it as March Meltdown) or the Michie Tavern Run with the Vineyard that was lead by Wingman.

To get it out there, I am def not a local to any of these runs but I did run them in the past. I have help from Wingman and Val to guide me with directions. As it sits right now, it will lean towards the Miche Run because I actually have the exact directions from Dave. Nonetheless, there's gonna be a drive

I will be making trips up to said drive spots to make sure everything is still kosher and there are no new signs, roadways, construction, etc. Basically, I will make the drive a couple of times as if it were game day.

This drive will be moderately paced due to having a good increase in new drivers to the S2000 and even to rear wheel drive

I'm open to suggestions, etc. Suggestions like "Carlo, you're rediculously good looking" will give you cool points.

p.s. For those HR Cowboys that expressed wanting to come with me to make sure the drive directions were good, I will only be taking a handful that I think can put up with me and ultimately, my exhuast.

 

I've done the Afton Mtn. thing so many times, I'd welcome the Michie's Tavern/Barboursville drive, so it gets my vote.

I picked sunday instead of saturday for the drive because roads normally are less occupied I think on sundays.
