Sure, you can take my stock rotors for cheap... If you want slightly groovy, slightly warpy thin and worn rotors with 56k miles

Not exactly what I had in mind! Just picked up a set of virtually new fronts and backs for $90...

anime,
if you looking for sloted only, PM 4IG. He has powerslots for a great price. I am really happy with mine.

Darnit... Now I wish I would have taken up that offer for rotors that had 2k miles on 'em... I deleted the PM - sorry to whoever sent that - still got em?

tenblade: I have seen the powerslots and some of them do just fine under heavy load, I'm sure (my neighbor wore the slots out of his Camaro-mounted powerslots without any visible stress and plenty of track time).

With the slots running all the way to the edge, there's a higher chance of them developing stress cracks from that edge (a metallurgical issue, not specific to powerslots). How much higher? I might never see it, but...

Maybe that offer I had for cheap stock rotors with 2k miles would be my best bet for the time being. I'm so decisive, as you can tell...

Thanks for all the info again!

hmmmm, my slots don't go all the way to edge, for that very reason.

Really? I thought the Power Slots did. Looks like it in the photo... *shrug*
We're talking about the same edge, right? The outside edge?

I posted before with pics of 2 other cars with my set-up. The shot of my car wasn't so good. Here's a couple brand new shots after upgrading to 18" rims a couple days ago. The black stuff on the rotors is from the pads. They're not even broken in yet so soon enough they will be shiny like the pics I posted of the other guys prior.

Yes, it is all about the bling. As long as my performance doesn't suffer I love it. I don't race, track, etc. it's a daily driver and I love every second...

As much as bling isn't my bag, it's a very nice look. Nice shots. No bling, but the mesh is functional....
