I ran the HTG kit when it was act clutch and comptech flywheel in my 01 and LOVED it. It made a big difference and suited my ability/style/preference for driving.

When I replaced my clutch about a month or 2 ago, I put in all OEM parts. I regret it a little bit, because I'm thinking I should have just put in the ACT set up, and been done with it. I will probably change it to the HTG setup this winter.

I would just run it until you have issues. No sense in throwing out working parts unless you have a $$$tree growing in the backyard.

HTG uses ACT flywheels now? what happened to comptech?

well i guess i've got the old HTG setup with ACT PP, Comptech flywheel, and 'OEM' disc (actually i have ACT disc but whatever). when i picked up my car after the install it was literally an on/off switch. i stalled and jerked all the way home (well, not literally). but now i wouldn't trade it for anything. the top-end gains are tremendous so i can only imagine with the ACT flywheel. i'm convinced it's the best NA BFTB mod after gears.
Comptech went out of business. Well -- sort of. The business was about to go under, so they sold the aftermarket parts business off to another company and they sold the name and the motorsports part of the company off too.

So the aftermarket parts business is now http://www.ct-engineering.com/

I have heard unconfirmed rumors that the quality of the parts is not as good as it used to be though.
