Default VAFC2 install/tune help

Just got an apexi vafc2 and wondering if anyone on here or local to the DMV area has experience with install and tuning it. Any info would be appreciated.

Are you saying this from first hand experience? And would you advise the same thing if I have a my01 but not willing to spend a grand on a stand alone ems at the moment. Asking honestly not in a condescending way

From personal experience I had better luck with Greddy EMU then the VAFC2, but I wouldn't recommend either. The efforts and expenses associated with the VAFC2 are not worth the negligible hp gains IMO.

Why do you feel that you need a tune? What modifications have you done to your motor?

A friend of mine bought it for his accord he's working on but decided to go a different direction so I picked it up from him for cheap. So far I've only done the k&n version of the aem v2 intake , berk tp, and invidia n1 exhaust as far as the motor goes; so I was just looking to make a few more ponies for cheap since that's about the most power gaining mods I'm gunna be doing for a while.

You should get on a dyno, get base numbers so you have an idea of where the car is in terms of power and fuel curve. If.. after this you want to make changes, you will need a boomslang harness if you haven't already picked one up. I would also advise against "street tuning" at all, but if you have the cojones to do so, or let some one preform this service, then I would highly recommend picking up a wide band AFR gauge.
