Default Verizon phone recommendations?

A while back, there was a thread here with recommendations for different models of Verizon phones. My wife and I are both in the market for new phones now, and I'm no longer up to speed on the latest and greatest.

I'm thinking that I want something with:

1. Good reception
2. Good battery life
3. Small size - no pda-size or bulky phones
4. Bluetooth (optional)

6 months ago I was leaning toward the Motorola 815 (I think?). What's the best out there now? Any good deals to be had?

both are great choices, i also have the V3c and it is a nice phone. 815 has more features but V3c has a better form factor IMO.

I just picked up the Treo 650, i know you said no bulky phones but i like mine a lot. It has a lot of nice features, good reception, and battery life is great.. The RAZR is also a nice phone. Ive heard good things.

I'd say get the Samsung. It has all features you're looking for. The Razor is nice looking and all, but it's such a flimsy phone. A few drop and parts are everywhere. Also, I don't like phone that has a built in antenna, can't seem to pick up reception very well in some area.

So the Samsung SCH-950a seems to be their flagship model. I really liked my old Samsung about a year or 2 ago. I like the RAZR as well, but I've heard too many stories of them breaking after being dropped.

Does anyone here have the Samsung SCH-950a? I haven't heard much about the reception, battery life, bluetooth, etc. I just know that it's supposed to be a generally good phone.

Nextel....naw im just frustrated that they wanted a huge deposit a few years ago when I wanted to join up. Now I got Nextel and T-Mobile. LOL. Anyway Razr is a great phone homie, plus Verizon has great service anyway.
