Well, on 5lbs of boost i put down 265rwhp 173lbs. of torque. I was wanting 300. But i am happy with what i got now that i know what 265 feels like. But I am sure some new injectors and a pulley might be in my near future

 

5 lbs? What set up are you running?

 

You should be getting more than that personally IMO.

 

i know. but that is what they said. But i am fine with that for now. I want to learn on 265 before i go up to 300+. not to mention it was 90 degrees in the dyno bay.

You should be make more than that on a Vortech unit, even with stock injectors. Did you double check all your connections?

 

I'll say that you should make more boost with a stock VTSC, but I will not go so far as to say how many horses should appear. Every dyno and operator will get different readings. The car is an '01 and the engine may be tired.

But again, boost should read higher than 5psi. The CTSC with aftercooler reads about 5.5psi.
