well I havent been on here for while but there is a meet in waugh chapel on wensday nights at 7 in front of the applebee's there;s usually a good turn out of cars

 

Currently 4 S2K's that have shown up that I know of. Would like to see more if possible......still something fun to do on a Wednesday night. Feel free to come out. Good place to buy/trade parts as well.

 

i might have to swing by and check it out. theres a thursday night dunkirk meet by the mcdonalds also

 

I show up on rare occasion depending on weather and whatever Im currently doing.

 

Yeah, I heard of the Dunkirk meet, but I've been going to the Easton Meet's on thursday. I'm working on gettin a more consistant bunch to show up to my meets, but all everyone does is bitch and whine about turnout. I keep telling them that if everyone always asks "well who's going?", than nobody will show up cuz they're all too worried about who all is gonna be there. And most of the time, those who are whining are the ones that don't show up anyway. They're more about the social gathering than the cars, which is sad. Starting to assemble "drift sessions/cruises" though, so it's gettin better.

Shameless plug: if you see people at these local meets who don't know about the BIG meet in Bowie MD next Sunday, known as the College Park Tuning Spring 2012 Charity Meet ( https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/934...stadium-42912/ ), as of Monday 4/23 @ 5pm, we still have room for 4 more cars to join the group we're forming to share a group space at the meet.
