You have road rage. Honking your horn, braking late to make it look like you're going to rear end him, and so on. (and doing this to a cop is just stupid) You're at fault if you did get a ticket for whatever reason.

Next time just pull up behind him get his tags and report it, and maybe he'll be rewarded with a nice little desk job.
i honked because he sped around me at about twice my speed and was initially pretty scared, and i did brake late but that is normal for me (a bad habit i know). and you're right i should have just got the tags and what not but i thought about that after. it seems whenever i'm in a tight situation, i never think of the obvious until after the fact. i didn't get a ticket btw. i didn't do anything illegal (i'm pretty sure at least)

MY FRIEND AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THEM EVERYWHERE BUT CAN'T FIND THEM! apparently they put them in more places than just randolph and they're listed in the Gazette. i gotta find that list. but i've heard from someone who read the article that the tickets are $40. i'd MUCH RATHER a $40 camera ticket than getting pulled over, though.

The wierd thing is that I drive on W. Montgomery Ave on the way to work everyday and have never seen one there.

i understand where you're coming from and your request has been honored. i guess i was just a little mad at his decision to pull me over for feeling threatened by reckless driving on his part, and at the way he spoke to me. but i understand you nonetheless.
Thank you.

The cameras are mobile units. Most of the time, they are minivans parallel parked on the road with tinted windows. On occasion they have an advertisement for the company that puts them out on the driver side door with a magnetic sticker. I am not sure if they have to do it for some reason, but the ones I have seen have a skinny orange pylon at one of the corners of the car. I have seen them on Woodfield Rd (124) in the school zones. Supposedly the tickets are $40 and no points. I'm all for them though... people fly through the 30 mph school zones
