what fluids are you Mid-A guys using ?

Default what fluids are you Mid-A guys using ?

Iv searched and didnt find much in for colder weather or all around type weather like what we get in the Mid-A area... Winter is coming and im bout to change all my fluids for it and wanted to see what everyone else is running.... and i guess while we are at it what are you guys running in the summer also ?

Mobil 1 oil, new Honda MTF, and LE607 in the diff.

Speaking of which, I need to get some LE607 from Skip...
Some are also using the GM Friction Modified in the transmission.

Honda 10w30 motor oil for break-in period (only have 1,600 miles)
Honda trans fluid
LE607 for diff

actually im doing mine as well for winter storage...
plan on doing them first weekend of Nov.

Personally, I didn't use synthetic until I broke 10,000 miles. I forget what I used before that, it was recommended in the Oil Journals on s2ki.

I use Castrol Syntec 10w30 now.

I used Mobil 1 Synthetic Diff fluid, just because it was readily available locally. The LE1605/607 is recommended for warmer climates while Mobile 1 is recommended for colder climates. In Mid-A we can safely use the LE1605/607.

I haven't changed my tranny fluid yet, but I would recommend the Honda MTF fluid.

Get the NEW Honda MTF fluid.
It should be regular stock now.

And yeah, don't change out the engine oil to synthetic until at least 10k miles. Should be your 3rd oil change.
