Well if I knew that my vehicle is not road worthy I would have called a cab, friend, bus etc... You are lucky you're not badly hurt or more importantly hurt someone else in the process.
they werent like slicks and my vehicle was roadworthy and im thankful to be alive your smart comments arent necessary

I would say something about the bald tires. But we have all been there. Its not like you were trying hit an on ramp at 80mph or anything. Glad to see you are okay. I blame these damned shitty Va roads.

I'm glad you made it out okay. What road is that? Look on the bright side - you won't need to look for side strakes any more...

Dude you stated that they were bald I'm going to assume that they are down past the wear bars thus making them not road worthy.

So if you say that they are road worthy how did you crash doing only 40 mph and from the pictures hardly any rain? I see a spotty bit of rain on the soft top and a slightly damp road where there is no tree cover. That leads me to believe that when the pictures were taken (I see EMT,Fire and Police) and if you had to have stitches and cleared by EMT the pictures must have been taken long after that. I'm going to assume that when the crash occurred there was no rain present you either suck at driving or were driving like an asshat.

Glad you're okay.

How many miles on the motor?

Seriously.
