Default EDIT: WTB: Stock springs for 2000 or 2001 (low mileage)

EDIT: Looking for a set (4) of stock springs for a 00 or 01 AP1 that have low mileage on them. Turns out only about every 2 model year groupings have the same springs (00-01, 02-03, etc.). The part numbers are different and the color swatches on the springs are different based on the year grouping. Thanks to Chuck for the spring chart or I wouldn't have known.

"Stock springs" depends on the model year. Cruise Ebay as spring sets show up there often.

Thanks for the chart Chuck. I thought all years or at least all generations had the same springs. I checked and the part numbers are indeed different depending on the year. I noticed that chart said estimated spring parameters. I wonder how accurate those are but the chart is interesting none the less.

The color codes are what you need to verify unless you're changing spring rates. Ebay sales usually show enough detail to verify the color codes.

Recall Honda started dialing out some oversteer in 2002 and the spring rates were part of it. Any set of springs will fit the car but handling will be different. If you know what you're doing you can mix and match. Everyone here can out-engineer Honda just sitting at their keyboards.

Full article on the springs that includes the earlier link. This has details on the sway bars as well. Print it out and put a copy in your reference file.

These are advertised (today) as 2004-2009. They will fit but we know there are 2 different front sets and 3 rear sets for those years.

I know @st.ryder64 got a full set of the right year (2002?) OEM springs off Ebay (right color codes and all) to retrofit his car that a previous owner had lowered with aftermarket springs. Before the retrofit he ground out on every speed bump and driveway.
