Looks like both Fontana and Tapoco are already booked. I cannot plan a trip this far out right now anyway.

No caravan for me then
It's April already. Can you plan it now?
I am not going that's the plan. Enjoy.

Hope to see you in June, George at Fontana.

Haven't worked out the details yet, but usually the plan is to leave early wednesday morning and head down 81, meeting up south of Winchester.
It's a 6.5 hrs drive from Winchester to Maryville, TN (where I am meeting Florian - funat9000rpm) for dinner around 7:00pm. Adding a fuel & lunch stop along the way adds another hour or so. I am driving I-66 West to Front Royal (just south of Winchester) from Arlington. Therefore, I can meet you anytime between 9:00 and 11:00am. Do you think that might work? I'm flexible.

Pedro
Yea that definitely works. Need to figure out the exact time since Maryville is on the way so it doesn't make sense to go all the way to the cabin first.

I mapped the route, and leaving Front Royal at 11:30 gives enough time for a 1 hour lunch/gas stop near Salem, VA and still arrive to Maryville by 6:45pm.

Cool, We typically meet up at:

33899 Old Valley Pike, Strasburg, VA 22657 at the Dennys because its the first exit on 81 after the 66 merge.

Right now I'm thinking 11am meetup should work, gives us a bit if extra time, we can grab some supplies or things we forgot in Maryville.

Florian and a few others will be having dinner in Maryville Friday night @ 7:00pm. He made another interest thread for anyone arriving early and available for dinner at Dead End BBQ. Will any of you be stopping and joining?

Possibly? I actually need to decide what things I'm going to be doing. The weather is looking like it could be a crapshoot.

Definitely meeting at for dead end BBQ though.
