This is my first convertible. Anyone know how cicadas will be with the top down? Will they bug the h@ll out of you?

in shanghai, they are there year round. Always wondered why there aren't any in America when I first arrived here... I guess it just turns out they wait and attack in numbers

They are pretty harmless though. My parents used to climb trees as kids and catch them........

.......Oh and cook and eat them afterwards.

Well I remember the 13 year brood come out back in 91 (if Im correct) and they were very annoying insects; so many of them...

Don't think I'll be driving top down for those three weeks if they're as bad as they're supposed to be. Should be interesting but if I remember correctly, they're only a problem at dusk.

I have a co-worker from Kentucky that has a receipe for them. It has something to do with a cookie sheet and a 350* oven. He claims that they taste like a Pistacio nut?

the post ran an article about not letting your pets eat too many of 'em. a vet said imagine your yard covered in chicken mcnuggets.... they're protein, and if your dog is anything like mine, slow fat flying insects are gonna be a major sport. but the shells aren't super digestible, if you get the drift...
