The throw and shift action is second to none...the buzz/rattle is also second to none lol...could have been the install... but I can attest to its performance...so much so that I considered it even over the buzz

it's definitely not the install. i removed/reinstalled it 3 times trying different greases/teflon/knobs. it always rattled =[ and there's only one way it can go in. thanks for the review of the shifter!

the buzz on mine is virtually none. I have a arc shift knob that I just put some teflon tape over the threads to make it tighter fit.

Overall it's a fantastic mod and I couldn't imagine my car without it.

is your arc knob hollow or solid titanium? my Alex one is hollow and teflon did nothing for it. But i preferred the hollow titanium knob w/ rattle over a heavier knob with less rattle, because either way it was rattling.

it's a solid knob. You can see it on sat if you want and listen to the rattle.
