WTB: Winter Beater
Looking for a winter beater.
Wants:
-Easy to work on
-FWD or AWD
-stick or auto (doesn't matter)
-good mpg
-cheap
Ideally an older corolla, camry, civic, accord, protege', crx, del sol, etc.
Would consider other depending on the requirements. Looking to spend no more than $1700 to buy it and make it road worthy for winter.
I have been to visit 4 vehicles found on craigslist. 1 did not show up at our arranged time at his home, 1 did not call to tell me they had sold the car, and 2 had major problems they neglected to tell me on the phone. Sellers that can't organize their way out of a paper sack need not apply.
If you have something or know of someone post here or pm me.

i'm gonna sell my 97 subby outback sport soon. but not until march/april. for around $1500.
i'd advice u into looking for one for your self because they've been an excellent beater car to complement my S and GS in winter months.
