Ok so after a few hiccups, i finally made the down payment for the S and am waiting for finance approval. Should have the car next week Inshallah. The guy at Honda said theres no need for a break in procedure and i can redline it from the moment i leave the carpark. I've heard that one shouldn't go over 55k rpm for the first 1000 kms though. Considering thats what the owners manual and Half the readers on this thread said, now im wondering. Is it that big a deal if i Gun it before the 1000k mark? What about the first service when is that?
Booked the Berlina Black btw. Black interior 08 aaa cant wait.

 

Congratulations! Welcome to the club. Owners manual does mention a 5500 rpm limit. And also no hard breaking for the first 500km or so. I followed them anyway. Honda dealer will ask you to bring it in at 1000km for the first service.

Hopefully you'll get it before the S2k meeting on 19th.
