I just bought a new S2000. I would like to increase its power. Can I reach 280-290 HP with out using a Turbo or supercharge?

What parts do I need to reach this HP?

If i used a testpipe will i get the check engine sign?

u might reach that. but ur gonna have to spend ALOT of time and money.
first of all this isnt a mustang (dont expect 30hp from an aftermarket exhaust).
second, the engine is already maxed out from the factory. try doing some research on the site lots of useful info.

the max someone has gotten out of an s2000 with just bolt ons is 225whp. some got 230whp. more with itbs.

Lots of research is done on the forums for different intakes, headers and exhaust. go per that.

Looking for 290 hp? 2.4 stroke, ITB is the only way. Got 300 hp from the engine that i had sent to TODA, now it is 2.4 stroked with ITB, everything was done by TODA.

 

Any part u require, let me know, most of the stuff is in stock here at LAP57, specially for S2000.

how much did you spend on the engine?

 

06 to 08 S2000s come with DBW which does not have an ITB set up available yet.

how r the itbs with all the dust? do u have filters for them or u dont drive the car when its dusty outside?

what is ITB ?
