Default This sucks...

Yeah that's right...I was driving on the highway in that sandstorm today and it seems that the shine is all worn off my paint in the front now. Tried washing the car of course but there's still a very defenite dullness. Think I've inadvertently sandblasted away the clearcoat or something.

Wondering if any of you guys have had a similar experience and can tell me if there's some way to polish it back to normal. Oh the suckage!!!

Damn, was it that bad!?

Seems a bit odd though... As for polishing, I think Khaled S2K may be able to help there - someone?

Yeah I think polishing is my best bet...I just need to find a garage that is honest enough to tell me if in case I don't need it.

Why not polish and put on a nice layer of wax? Protect the car from the sund & blowing sand.

Take it to Emarat Petrol station opposite Grand cinemas' called Garhoud Station (Subway), they got two guys who knows my S2000, and they did a fantastic job, I had damaged my paint because I left AutoX stickers and track-days numbers on the car for months, and it did take the polish layer off once I removed it... + in car wash, the guy added thinner to remove the extra gluwe stuff, but end up cutting thru the wax.

Anyway, I was very happy indeed, + they had restored my red interior. looks/smells/feels like new. I would give them 4/5 because it took them 3 days to finish it.
