1. A place with a nice patio would be terrific. If it gets too cool, you could always eat inside, sure. Instead, come prepared and bring one of your sweaters or a hoodie for HER to wear. Stay outside; let her languish (?) in the aroma of a JUST WASHED piece of your clothing. Shows her two things: you're looking out for her comfort. AND that you DO and CAN wash your own stuff!
2. Absolutely no movies. Dinner and a movie is waaay too cliche. No opportunity for conversation. If you rent one for home viewing, get Office Space. Or Shawshank Redemption. LOTS to talk about in that one.
3. Bowling would be good. Conversation and a chance to show her yer ath-a-letic prowess. Plus, you show her you can laugh at yourself, cuz nobody (unless you're on the PBA tour) looks good bowling.

I look my bride to dinner on the plaza and got drinks afterwards, turned out pretty well.

I recommend a medium place for dinner - not formal, but not too casual. Then drinks at a place like...you guessed it...Old Chicago...where there are friendly people and other folks around converstating.

She likes the outdoors, so I was thinking about a trip to the arboretum for an early evening walk since they are only open until 7:30pm, then dinner and drinks somewhere.




Mpetus - Yes, she is gorgeous. It is not her looks that play 100% of the role in making me so nervous though. I felt a real connection and just hope that is reciprocated. Haven't felt that in about 7 years with anyone.

 

Cool.

Might go somewhere that has a patio for dinner, drinks, or both. Weather is awesome for it and you will score some points.
