Mpls TNiA attendees?
I have been going to the TNiA events at DCTC (Rosemount MN) since last fall. Just wondered if any others here have been going or plan to? Would be cool to see more S2k's on the track there. There were a couple at one event but I did not catch the owners names (or forgot them after meeting too many people in one day!). We had one last night, and there was just two S2ks there this time which was mine and another local guy I knew already.
The course is a police/truck driver training course and thus is more of a short track type of thing. Very fun for sure. Events are well run and everyone seems to have a good time. We run tons of autocross events at the same location so I have spent many days at the facilty. I encourage locals to come out and play for sure.
Anyways, I will throw some video up if anyone is interested in watching someone lap over and over....but gives you the idea of the track layout. This was from the July event. I even left in my drift moment when experimenting with the braking zone at the end of the concrete
There is a big ass crack/bump right where you like to brake and the end of the concrete section is approaching 90ish mph. I tried to brake a bit later and do kind of a double brake thing over the bump to keep it out of abs and that just turned into a sloppy, but kinda fun, corner lol. They found out that something was not set up correctly (I guess something with insurance??) so advanced group was not able to do open point by passing as usual and we had to only pass in the two passing zones, hence why some point bys were delayed for a ways around the track. They are trying to resolve that so advanced group drivers can point by anywhere on track again.

Probably wont make PG. We are running a couple of autox events at Brainerd this summer though. Between the TNIA events, full local autox season and nationals it is hard for me to fit in any more race weekends with the rest of life!
Where you at some of the events last season? If so, which S2k do you drive? We probably met at some point there. A friend of mine brings out his RSX for those events as well as autox events.
the s2k is my daily, I used to take my ep3 to dctc and Beainerd, sold it and bought an RSX, is been a couple of years since I've been on track, RSX is finally done, Not street legal, Race track only, way to committed w it to start taking the S to the track. a good friend of mine (Kor) helps as a driver instructor at DCTC sometimes , he drives a white RSX
