This should be an experience like no other...
Mark (not you Mark..another Mark) will leave Topeka tomorrow night so we can be in Indiana by early morning on Friday, install brakes and tires and pass inspection
1. Event 1 is a Wed Skid Pad....basically an autox with sprinklers on Saturday morning, then we drive some 40 miles to a race course.
2. Event is a road race at South Bend Motor Speedway
3. Third event is an Oval event (Nascar style) some 105 miles away at a racecourse called Autobahn Country Club....then we can sleep a little bit.
4. Sunday we drive 420 miles to Mid America Motorplex and run several races there Sunday - at the end of the last event in the afternoon we have to drive some 980 miles to Miller Motorsports Park
5. Monday we will race at MMP where we will also have several events and then we sleep...
6. Tuesday we drive 600 miles to Pueblo Motorsports Park and run several events there as well.
6. Wedensday we drive another 550 miles to Hallett raceway and spend all day there -some 3 races take place
7. Thursday we run the finals at O'Reilly Raceway Park after we drive 680 miles to get there....at the end of the day we have to drive 250 miles to Mid Ohil Sportscar Course....
8. At MOPC we will run 3 trial events on Friday before heading to The Tire Rack for closing ceremonies (260 miles). BUT...we first have to finish the event on the DRY skid pad this time...Saturday night we get the awards ceremony and banquet.

I think I counted my cows too quickly and it was probably too good to be true. After passing the physical and after sending in for my race license and being on the phone with 10 people I just got news that I need much higher liabilities on my insurance...well, this was never informed to me and I really don't think I want to update all of my cars insurance to fit the needs of 7 days of play...I am just worn out of all the paperwork and bullcrap I had to go through today...we'll see what happens...if it happens, it happens, but I am not going to stress my ass out beyond the point where it stops being fund and I loose focus of what is important: my work, my clients, and most importantly, having fun.
