UGH! That's AWFUL! Do you know what the cause was? Gremilins?

After a little searching, this may be the best link on how to inspect your valves (Thanks Billman250!). Seeing how expensive this fix can be, I'm thinking this ought to be a standard checkup at our install days.

Does anyone know anyone with a truck and trailor that would be inexpensive to use?

I have to start thinking about how to get the car away from Frank Ancona, because they are NOT going to be the ones to put in a new engine. The engine is not purchased yet, but I best start looking into how to transport it because I am sure those assholes of Frankie's will be wanting some storage fees before too long.

I have a friend in Topeka that will let us use his car trailer...as long as we go and pick it up, put gas in it, and deliver it back to the same location, he is cool with it....

How much is a tow job? Like $ 50? I am thinking in gas alone going to Topeka...and coming back and dropping it off again, plus turnpike X4...I think you would be pretty damn close...let me know though.

SOrry to hear this, do you know if its possible to just rebuild, or are you going to replace the entire engine?

I have access to a truck and trailer. We would need to replenish the gas as a courtesy ($25 would cover it). The trailer sits low and has ramps but we would need to find a way to get it on the trailer. Come-a-long with chains should work. We can push it off. I could do it some evening this week. The truck is not available 7-4 m-f or Saturdays. Steve.
Unfortunatley, I have to get the car during the day....the place installing my engine closes at 5:30.

I would like to do this Friday or Saturday....anyone else out there have a connection to a trailor????
