Garbage or not, at least I could tell what he was saying. Commas, periods, semi-colons, etc. really are useful.

(smiling because i'm joking around) lol (laugh out loud)

I think the confusion comes from the fact that it appears that you're using "Ebay" as a verb, rather than a noun.
