Like many have said before, there isn't any real quick and easy way to make money. Investing is a long term by nature. Most financial professionals nowadays looks towards asset allocation on more of a balanced type of portfolio.

And most aren't particularly good at it.

Being in the mortgage industry I would have to say that real estate is a good way to invest money. But it isn't for those looking for short term investments. At least not right now. The only way to make alot of money in a short term is to look at emerging markets. Places like tennesse and north carolina are good places. The prices are still relativley low and they are increasing. But all those info-mertials on TV are full of sh!t. Your not gonna become a millionare over night.

You can but it's highly unlikely and very risky. Those programs have very optimistic projections based on the best case conditions and landing the sweetest deals. There is huge upside potential but the chances of actually realizing them is next to nil.

Regarding purchasing real estate or investing in emerging markets based mutual funds?

Buying real estate in "emerging markets".

Mutual funds that are described as "emerging market" funds are not heavily invested in either Tennessee or North Carolina.
