well... what it *does* show is that every person over 18 essentially paid $425 to bail out that institution. that's $425 I can't afford to be giving to some grossly mismanaged company...

Looks like that bailout package worked. NOT!
Remember the fear mongering on both sides?! "If we don't pass this, the market's are going to crash."
Well....looks it did anyway and there is no end in sight, and now we are in the hole for another trillion. Wooohooo! I love serfdom (tongue firmly in cheek).
Epitath:
RIP...."The America Dream" 1776 - 2008. The Founding Father's dream could not overcome the stupidity and apathy of the average American and a corrupted US government. May she rest in peace.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
You've managed to turn that into a twisted, obsessive compulsive ambition to have your cake and let the less fortunate get their own or starve. There is no 'us' in US.

I doubt that money dumped in a few days ago can turn everything around that fast. It took us a few years of bad debt/loans etc. to really cripple the system. Its unlikely that dumping 700B in cash is going to remedy the system in a matter of days! Its all talk. The time it takes to get the money to the banks and get the money into everyone elses hands. Its simply not going to turn the stocks around for a long time.

Don't think that a broken leg is going to heal in 1 week you have to give it time to mend itself. This bailout is not a ez fix to the problems that we already had. It is unfortunate that we let these money hungry "giants" bring this beautiful country downlike this. I guess they never understood the saying "you reap what you sow"

Why move? Just give it some time and the US will be out right socialistic. It is the direction we are heading.
By the way....where are my haters these days?
