^^^ So when is China going to stop buying our debt again? I thought you said that they already have.
But still they keep buying more and more. Yields are appalling. US treasuries 2 yrs out are paying out well under 1%, yet China still can't get enough of them...

funny how the US is turning more socialist, while on the otherside of the pond china is becoming more capitalist. their gdp is still growing over 3% while the US is contracting...
all this unemployment is a strong leading indicator of things to come. we still got lower and deeper to go.

Isn't China in a bind also? I mean, they have bought a good amount of US debt and to let it fail, their "investment" would be gone. So they are buying because they have to and not because they want to?

China's not in a bind because they're sitting on two trillion in reserves.
At the same time, they'll have to continue to buy our debt, or risk having all the debt they now hold lose its value.
