quick question on dividends
You may have given up on your strategy by now, but remember that you have to buy before the ex-dividend date to receive the dividend:

i havent given up on financials yet. I think CMA (comerica) is a good buy right now for long term.

it says that CMA has very low subprime exposure and low exposure to the consumer market in general. it may be unfairly grouped in with all the other banks tanking because of their subprime exposure. additionally, i used to work for them, and the current ceo is known for building a company up and selling it off. Formerly being based out of detroit (now dallas), it is the biggest bank in michigan, so i assume its a good thing that GM is making money now. i'll checkem out in a couple days to see how things are shaping up.
