Yup. What he said ^^.

It just means the stock represents good value now. From what I can tell CIBC doesn't even cover the stock. They went into an ATT store in a suburban Utah strip mall, didn't see anyone buying an iPhone and concluded that nobody is buying them. However I think the real catalyst was Gene Munster, insanely bullish AAPL analyst at Piper Jaffrey, saying that ATTs report that 144K iPhone were activated in the first day and a bit of sales was disappointing. That's when the stock went south. Your news was just fuel on the fire.

I think AAPL will break $200/share espcially with the trend of Apple dabbling in everything trendy. What's keeping me from purchasing $5000 worth of stock in AAPL?

Is that a rhetorical question?

No, I would like someone to play devil's advocate before I make such a purchase.

then it dropped from 143-135 or 36?

Well I'm long term bullish on AAPL if that wasn't obvious so I'd tell you to buy it now ahead of earnings. Maybe buy $2500 now south of 137 and hold off on the other half until tomorrow.
