will be curious to see how the Fed closes out 2022 and comments on 2023. Expected hike rate of 50 basis points.

Rollover IRA options account is 60% in the market - ready to sell both call and put options on the volatility.

Yea, that's about what I expect. 50 basis point hike with pretty hawkish language OFC depending on the CPI. I don't really actively manage my money. Mostly Index funds with my IRA in a fund with a targeted retirement date. I've just shifted to different dates depending on where we've been at in volatility. Obviously, closer retirement dates are more safe and less weighted towards stocks.

I definitely don't know enough to be trading options intelligently. My degree is in Econ but my line of work is not. I've had some fun armchair quarterbacking this stuff but haven't put my money where my mouth is yet.

Seems that 50 basis points and hawkish language were not baked in...

I think the 50 points were expected but a lot of "pundits" were hoping for softer words regarding the future. They did not get that.

In wake of FTX being revealed as a completely criminal and juvenile money grab, I decided to get more serious about trying to figure out what companies I should actually trust. I pulled completely out of Binance and crypto as a whole. I knew crypto was a speculative "asset" at best but got some FOMO last year and bought in.

Obviously all crypto brokers are suspect in the current moment. Any legitimate reason to not trust more traditional broker apps like Robinhood, Webull, etc?

So. what/how everyone doing now?

Market bottom October-2022 last year? SP500 - 3491?

My long-term two year performance from April 2021 to April 2023 is +2.8%. LOL.

Who knows anymore. So many wild variables that you could make arguments for pretty extreme bulls or bears. Long run will go up for sure.

New bull market run.

Markets up over +20% since the Oct-2022 lows.
