Default Using Western Union

Mods if this is in the wrong section, I apologize. Please move to the correct section.

Has anyone used this service to buy parts from someone outside the states? I found a guy (https://www.facebook.com/jdm.autosupplies.9) who posts JDM parts FS on facebook who has a set of 18x8 +38 CE28 for $1,000. Sounds too good to be true. Just want to hear your opinions on this as I have never sent money outside the states nor have I ever used Western Union. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NEVER send money via western union. It is totally unsecured. This is why paypal and credit card payments with fraud prevention exist and they have protection (as long as you don't send as a gift). Western union is 100% a scam unless you are just sending money to someone you know.
