*******UPDATE*******
There is now a Memorial Service and BBQ arranged for Travis and the Hunt Family. It will be held on May 7th, starting in Irvine and ending at the Eibach meet in Corona. Please click the link below to sign-up and show your support.
Travis' Caravan
In addition, I plan on helping to sell the fundraiser/memorial tee-shirts that are being made special for this event. I'll pick some up for those that can't make it down there, but still want to help the family. Just shoot me a PM.
Regards,
David "Hockey"

Okay guys. We are starting to get a few signed up for the Memorial BBQ.
I'll start a signup here for a LV caravan down to the LA/San Diego area. As of now, I'm thinking we leave here saturday morning (5/6/06). This will give the mon-fri workers the opportunity to join the group.
Feel free to make other suggestions.
CARAVAN LIST:
1. Hockey
2. How Rad!

i don't want to sound disrespectful or anything. From everything I've read he sounds like a great guy and a big loss to the s2ki community. My thoughts go to his family.
Does anybody know the details of the accident? Is there something that can be learned to avoid future tragedies like this?
RIP mate

Here is what I know. Travis was driving the S on Pacific Coast Highway. For some unknown reason he hit the center divide, wiped out 5 palm trees and landed upside down. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger supposedly got out relatively untouched.
A few people have gone out to the scene and I saw a pic get posted......but it doesn't answer WHY???????!!!!!!!!!!??????
We would REALLY like to hear from the passenger, but nothing yet.
Thank you for the condolences. I considered Travis a friend and am still upset about all of this.
