Amuse Exhaust Issue
Well, I'm sure by now you all know what type of problem the Amuse exhaust tend to have after a few years.
My resonator is rattling worse by the day and I can't find a shop in town that can either open it and fix it or that has a titanium pipe of the same size to replace the resonator all together.
Any suggestions?
Thanks all.

If you don't mind shipping the exhaust to the bay area (just outside of San Francisco), my friend welds titanium. He has fixed a few J's exhausts resonators and has made a custom titanium exhaust for a socal member.
Cost is usually ~$220 to repair, but the weld will never break.

I actually found a place called Welding Shop on Wyoming road on the industrial district where the guy I spoke to said they do "weld titanium on a regular basis" but I would have to get the piece of titanium pipe. I just want to cut off the resonator and put a straight pipe instead.
So far no luck finding the pipe.
Any thoughts?

If you are looking for titanium tubing try Metal Supermarkets. They usually rape for titanium since they sell it new... but if you are in a bind you can get it there.
Good luck!
If you bought the Amuse exhaust new there might be a chance the vendor will refund the cost of repairing the exhaust or even replacing it. I remember someone on the boards had a similar problem with pieces of titanium breaking off inside the resonator and the vendor replacing it for free.

Good luck finding anyone locally that can weld titanium.
