Hello fellow s2ker's. I was wondering if any of you guys were realtors or have any insights of how the market is moving so far with vegas. I am talking to a representative from ziprealty.com and i am basically looking to find a small ppty for something no more than 130K and hopefully be able to rent it out. Only problem is that i do not know the area to well myself. So if any of you realtors out there can give me a hand and let me know which area is still possible of finding a house/condo/townhome for that price.

Also the realtor mentioned something about sunrise mountain? good area?

sunrise mtn is ok. I like the southwest or henderson IMHO. anyhow, 130K will buy you a nice condo in the barrio. I'd would expect to pay more along the lines of 170-200K for something. Definitely talk to Karim. He is known as the "King" in realty here in the fertile valleys.

 

Karim is a local S2000 owner and REALTOR, as am I (but not a S2000 owner).

 

Karim is the man for the job....

 

I'm curious just what you can get for 130k out here. I bet you can get a 1 or 2 BR condo up in Nortown for that much.

 

thanks for the reply, basically i am not trying to get the biggest place, just something so i can start investing in. If i can rent it out great, if not, i'll still have a place in vegas.
