Given that every thing you learn doing autocross directly translates to the track, with out the risk of destroying your investment from one stupid move.

I used to auto-x quite frequently and what you learn in auto-x is very different what you need for track driving. granted the car control is good to learn, the hectic abrupt motions in car do not translate well on the track, also only having "one minute" sessions does not usually teach tire/brake/car conservation. I am not knocking auto-x but i just think they are very different, my .02. (one of my longer posts, crazy)

Hectic Abrupt motions while autocrossing? If that's what you were doing, then you were doing it wrong.

Smooth = fast. Both for autocross & open track.

Anyone going tomorrow night? I heard there is a good chance of rain.

Thanks to Dustin, my harnesses are finally fully installed.

Started off really slow, but I think by the end I was getting the hang of it. Dropped 5.5 seconds off my first go at it. The car is very fast...now the driver needs improvement. I'll be at as many events as possible...I had a blast.
