Does the comptech make the same rattling sound as the vortech? Which other SC options are out there?

If the Vortech is quieter, it must be very very quiet, as I don't feel the comptech makes much noise at all. I only hear it at idle, and don't hear it at all until around VTEC when I just hear the sweet sound of the flow of air ...i think that is what that sound is anyway

The vortech is quiet other than the pulley making that rattling noise. Does all SC pulley make that noise or is there other noises.

I did some search about the two system and found out that it comes down to which ever tickle your fancy. Both systems are good but have their pros and cons.

yah. Honestly the reason on this car, that the comptech was chosen, was because Honda installs them at stealerships and still allow the warranty to stay on the engine, and that gave us confidence in their blower+ECU combo

let me tell you guys the reason i chose the Vortech.

1. both units are reliable

2. comes with more things...afetrcooler,BOV,....etc.for about the same price.

3. more power out of the box, capable of more power if i ever wanted to go all out i had more growing room.

4. not sure about the comptech being under honda warrenty...when i was thinking about buying the charger i called Diamond Bar honda in cali and they said even if they do the install it wouldn't be under the honda warrenty...most dealers don't except warrenties for aftermarket parts..

Peace
