I agree with you for the most part Dave. I think that it is a good idea to leave at 9 or 10 and that you be there at the meeting time or you drive by yourself. I think that it doesnt really matter what time we get into Cali, we are going to want to get a little grub when we get there so an hour wont make a difference. Its up to you guys...I hope my car even makes it!

I agree also, 9 is too early. I have to drop my bitch off at the kennel before I leave also. Lets say 10 at chevron or you're driving by yourself.

I've got some moto walkie talkies, not sure if they work with others or not, but I'll give it a shot.

As for speed, I think 80 should be a nice number.

Just FYI: ALL the FRS radios commonly available at retail will talk to each other. They share a common set of channels and "sub-channels" so you don't all have to run out and buy matching Scumarola radios if you already have an FRS radio that works

 

i love tommy's but everything they serve comes with chilli. if you get it with out chilli it sucks. i am imune to tommy's. some first timers might not be able to get 20 miles down the road before having to drop a load after eating it. i dont know how you guys feel about public restrooms but the ones on the 15 pretty much suck. peggy sues serves everything and i think they serve breakfast all day. so if yall want to leave at 10 cool i like 9 so it gives us more time to aviod traffic. and i hate the mornings.
