Default Powerslot Rotors

I just picked up some rear rotors and need to get some fronts. Anyone know a good place to pick em up from? Do I need anything besides the rotors before I install them? SS brake lines? Thanks!

Im pissed because i just found out the drilled/slotted are more show compared
to the go of just plain ol slotted rottors. i wish i would have just gotten slotted rottors instead of drilled/slotted. oh well. we live and we learn.

you could order
some cadium plated slotted rotors from Spugen at http://www.teamspugen.com/store.html ... the slots on their slotted rotors don't go all the way to the outside edge of the rotor which increases structural integrity.

I actually have to stop by there on my way to LV to pick up my OEM exhaust that i left there.

ps. do the slots in powerslot slotted rotor's go all the way to the edge or are there a few cms between the edge and the end of the slot?

Ryan, you might want to run over to Home depot and pick up an impact screwdriver. When I put the Powerslots on mine I couldn't get the screw that holds the rotor on loose. Impact screwdriver you pound with a hammer and it twists with every hit. You might as well do the pads and SS lines while your at it too if you've got the $$$.

Thanks for the heads up. I just bought some Craftsquares, so I am either gonna sell the powerslots when they come in, or else put them away in the garage til I buy fronts. Thanks though!

Hi, I got to Las Vegas last night and I leave today but I just checked out yor site.

Whatever rotors you get you should have them Deep Cryogenically treated. There are several ideas about drilled and slotted rotors. Most people say that slotted are better because you don't weaken the rotor with holes. Other people say you get better heat dissipation with the drilled holes. If you get either one the cryo treating will give you 200-300% more wear, better heat dissipation, and help prevent warping. I put a full set on my car and they are great. The cryo treating will keep the rotors from cracking between the holes.

When I am not doing my real job I do Deep Cryogenical Thermal Processing. I have a full set of treated USA made crossdrilled and slotted rotors. they have black powdercoating on the center and black zinc plating on the vents to keep them from rusting. The pad area is untreated so you don't have to wear off the zinc plating on the pad area.

I will sell them for $375 shipped to you from Florida.

P.S. I saw a 2004 yellow S today at Las Vegas Blvd at about 10:00 am. Good to see.

Send me a PM or check me out on the Florida forum.

Thanks, Jeff
