Kumho MX. Best bang for the buck when it comes to a all weather street tire. Great grip in all situations and they deal well with heat. They also ride well and don't make a ton of noise. Also, they are cheap! They are currently on Rudy's car and he is driving them till they cord
how are these compared to our stock tires???

i like them... that's why i'm running them till they cord, you seen how they look
but really like Karim said i think there the best " Best bang for the buck" there cheaper then stock tires, they work well in all types of weather from rain to snow etc..., and i already seen 6 track days and lost count of how many autox

I just got my Hankook Ventus RS2 installed not to long ago 225/50/16 - 245/45/16. They are great for the price I picked them up for. I hope they last throughout the summer. Thanks Jim for your service.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I am thinking about getting new tires.

For the price and performance, I got it down to 2:

Dunlop Z1 Star Spec: It seems like everybody loves these tires and I have them on my other car. Also it comes w/ a $75 rebate from Dunlop.

Kumho XS: I think it replaced the MX but w/ slight improvements.

I read reviews about the XS but was wondering if anybody have them on their cars locally.

Thanks!
