Thanks!

I order everything online. I buy some of my stuff (body kit, CF hood) from a board sponsor, MPTuning. Let me know if you need help purchasing anything, and I might be able to help.

Cool, thanks.

I think first thing will be springs (wheel grap sucks). I dont want the car dumped, an inch would probably be good. Any brand suggestions?

Eibach is a nice choice of springs. It lowers your car about an inch. The Tein S-Techs are what I have and I like them. Either of those two will give you about an inch drop and will be a quality product. Let me know if you want info on where to order either of the 2 springs from. Do you plan on getting rims?

Welcome to the site Joel! As Ryan said most people here order their parts of the net and either install them ourselves or we try to get an install party going so everyone can come help out.

If you do need a shop here is a listing of local shops... http://www.lvracingscene.com/locallisting.php

On am back and forth on that. I was considering powercoating or painting the stockers and leaving the lip. Would I not want to go as low if I was going with aftermarket wheels?

It doesnt really matter. Just DONT get Neuspeed springs. I had them and my fender basically sat on top of my tires. I have 18s and a 1 inch drop is a good height.

Thanks Karim!

Whats the level of difficulty on installing some springs?

Also, I'm sure someone here knows - what should I avoid doing to the car that would put me in more difficult classes for autocross? Are coilovers ok? FI? etc

Thanks again guys, this is one of the friendlier forums I visit!

When it comes to rims and tires make sure you get the right sizes also. It's really easy to screw up the handling of the car or have your tires rub if you dont' have the right size. The wonderful folks in our wheel and tire forums can help you with that http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/forumdisplay...p?s=&forumid=56
