I'm tring to spark intrest in a United S2000 Meet to take place in the central U.S. All cars would meet at a road course. There would be qualifing rounds with as many as 50 S2000's for appox.one half hour a piece. The qualifing rounds would be mixed with Stock S2000's and modified S2000's. After one to two days of qualifing dependent upon the number of intrested people at a yet to be determined road course.Only the best stock and modified times would qualify for two final races. One for stock and one for modified. I would like see us be able to get aftermarket vendors for our cars to attend as well as food caterers. Would be nice to get a couple of music bands to be there for the event. I myself would just as soon camp right at the race track itself. I would trailer my car to the track with my camping gear. Others may not have this option,so perhaps we could also get someone to attend who would rent basic camping gear for others who wish to camp out at the track. Would like to get HONDA involved for this might help us obtain a track. Not to mention save money as well. S2KI would prob.be able to help with hotels for those who would rather not camp out. All entrents would have to sign some type of wavier so as not to hold the track owners/S2KI lible for any injuries that may happen Still open is the exact location for the meet. Track owners must be willing to allow stock S2000's to race on their course with minimal redtape/rollbars prior to racing. This will take an effort by all members to pull this off. So if you are intrested PLEASE post a reply and or contact your regional coodinator/moderator and express your intrest in this,what I feel will/would be an historical event Just think about it,4-5000 thousand S2000's together in one place at the same time for three fun filled days of racing and shearing stories about this great little car the Honda S2000. What a party! So if you would please post your ideas thoughts etc. Spead the word of this very possible great event. It will not be easy for sure. But If we Unite together it can and will happen
