It went really well. We ran a different configuration today than yesterday. I was disappointed because I wanted to shoot for a better time on the 3.1, but we ran the 2.7 which ended up being a lot of fun. I ran a 2:43 on the 3.1 and a 2.06 on the 2.7. Lots of fun and I think I got a lot faster this weekend. 7 seconds faster on the 3.1 from last time.

I would have loved to have made it... but, never got a response from the PCA guys.

It's basically the whole outer edge of the track, you go to the upper portion just like you would on the 3.1 but after coming out of zoras run instead of making a right into the inner section of the track you keep going straight till you hit the kink right before the back stretch. It's very fast. You are well into 5th in the s2k before you hit the kink. It was good fun.

Thanks Mat...missed having you out there.
As Karim said, it was very fast and a lot of fun. I was expecting to be losing a lot of ground in that section since the car is underpowered compared to a lot of the cars that were on the track, but that wasn't the case. I think it had to do with suspension and having a set of balls. Most people were braking way earlier and getting so much less speed through the two kinks, so I was making up a lot of ground there. I was bouncing off the rev limiter in fifth by the time I slowed down a couple times...hit 120mph on that part of the course.
I can't wait to get better brake pads so that I can break later going into Ego Check and the turn that is after the back straight. I was having to start braking at the #4 for Ego Check and #2 on the back straight to try to avoid getting completely sideways (did that one time and put two wheels off).
