im thinkin about gettin a part time valet job up here in Corvallis....

what's your personal impression of it?

 

it really depends on the type of place it is you work,......I dont really know what type of places offer valet up there.
you can be busy as heck and make no money or dead and still crush it.
i feel like i got tied down with it here in Reno, i dont know what else i would do.......i have been doing it 5 years now but as a part time job and KNOWING you wont do it forever you should have fun, its the easiest money I have ever made.

 

Well I can put it into perspective for you. say you make 9 an hour. Well lets say you make 40 in tips on an 8 hour shift. Well you just made 5 an hour in just tips.so you actually made 14 an hour but the taxes in tips in different, so you actually make more after taxes. But compare me and josh. He makes about a hundred a day at a good hotel and I make 30-50 avg a day. so I still make decent money. You would wan't to find out what shift you will be working. Every shift will makke different tips. But you really don't want to get sucked in and stuck.
